Questions

Do I need a referral?

No. Book directly online or by phone. If we think you need to see an eye doctor, we will arrange the referral.

How often should I have an eye test?

It varies from person to person. Your optometrist will suggest a time to return and we will send a reminder.

What should I bring?

Your current glasses, your contact lens details, a list of your medicines and any letters about your eyes.

Will I have drops in my eyes?

Not usually. If drops are planned we will tell you when you book, so that you can arrange a lift home.

Can I bring a prescription from somewhere else?

Yes. Our dispensing optician can make up a prescription from another practice, as long as it is in date.

What if I have a sudden problem with my sight?

Phone us straight away and we will hold an urgent slot. If we are closed, call your local emergency number.
