Sales and lettings · Eastbrook, Riverside, Old Town, Westhill, Ashby Vale

Homes to buy and rent in five neighbourhoods

Harrow & Vale is a residential agency for buyers, sellers, renters and landlords. Every listing is written by the agent who has walked round the home, and every valuation comes with the sales it was based on.

What we do

Sales, lettings and management under one roof

Most people come to us for one thing and stay for the next move. The same office handles each step.

  1. Selling your home

A valuation, a written marketing plan, accompanied viewings and progress calls every week until completion.

  2. Buying a home

Early alerts for new listings, second viewings at short notice and help reading surveys.

  3. Letting a property

Tenant referencing, a written inventory, deposit handling and a tenancy agreement you can read.

  4. Property management

Rent collection, repairs through vetted trades and a yearly check of each home.

  5. Valuations

A price range based on recent sales on your street, explained in a one-page report.

  6. Sold price reports

What homes on a street actually sold for, by month, so you can judge an asking price.

How selling with us works

Valuation visit

An agent walks round, then sends a price range with the sales it was based on.

Photos and listing

Photos, a floor plan and a description you approve before anything goes live.

Viewings and offers

Accompanied viewings, and every offer passed on in writing the same day.

Sale to completion

Weekly calls with you, the buyer's agent and both lawyers until you get the keys.

People who know the streets

Each agent covers one or two neighbourhoods, so the person who values your home also shows it.

Questions

How much does a valuation cost?

Nothing. An agent visits, then sends a price range and the recent sales it was based on.

How long does a sale usually take?

Often three to four months from valuation to completion. It depends on the buyer, their lender and both lawyers.

Can I view a home in the evening?

Yes. Viewings run seven days, with evening slots on weekdays.

What do I need to rent a home?

Proof of identity, proof of income and a reference. The lettings team tells you exactly what before you apply.

Do you tie me into a long contract?

No. Sole agency terms run for eight weeks, then continue month to month until you end them.

How do I know a payment request is real?

Phone the office on a number you trust before sending money. We never change bank details by email.
