Buying a home

Early alerts for new listings, second viewings at short notice and help reading surveys.

Suits: First-time buyers and people moving up

Letting a property

Tenant referencing, a written inventory, deposit handling and a tenancy agreement you can read.

Suits: Landlords with one or two homes

Property management

Rent collection, repairs through vetted trades and a yearly check of each home.

Suits: Landlords who live away or work full time

Valuations

A price range based on recent sales on your street, explained in a one-page report.

Suits: Owners deciding whether to sell

Sold price reports

What homes on a street actually sold for, by month, so you can judge an asking price.

How selling with us works

Most sales take three to four months from valuation to completion. Your agent tells you where things stand every week.

  1. Valuation visitAn agent walks round, then sends a price range with the sales it was based on.
  2. Photos and listingPhotos, a floor plan and a description you approve before anything goes live.
  3. Viewings and offersAccompanied viewings, and every offer passed on in writing the same day.
  4. Sale to completionWeekly calls with you, the buyer's agent and both lawyers until you get the keys.

Questions

Every valuation comes with the sales it was based on, and every offer is passed on in writing.

How much does a valuation cost?

Nothing. An agent visits, then sends a price range and the recent sales it was based on.

How long does a sale usually take?

Often three to four months from valuation to completion. It depends on the buyer, their lender and both lawyers.

Can I view a home in the evening?

Yes. Viewings run seven days, with evening slots on weekdays.

What do I need to rent a home?

Proof of identity, proof of income and a reference. The lettings team tells you exactly what before you apply.

Do you tie me into a long contract?

No. Sole agency terms run for eight weeks, then continue month to month until you end them.

How do I know a payment request is real?

Phone the office on a number you trust before sending money. We never change bank details by email.
