Braces or aligners? Let's take a look.

Wraybrook Orthodontics starts everyone with a free consult, then maps out each step from your first scan to your last retainer check.

Treatments

From a first look to the last retainer check

Which option suits a bite is a clinical decision. The orthodontist will talk through each one with you.

  1. Early checks for children

A first look while baby and adult teeth are both there, to see whether anything needs doing now.

  2. Braces

Small brackets joined by a wire, in metal or tooth-colored, with elastic colors to choose if you like.

  3. Clear aligners

Thin clear trays that come out to eat and brush, changed at home between visits.

  4. Adult orthodontics

We check with your dentist that gums and dental work are ready before anything starts.

  5. Retainers

Worn after active treatment, with reviews over the first year.

  6. Repairs

Loose brackets and wires, with a repair slot when one is needed, often the same week.

Questions

Do I need a referral?

No. Book a free consult directly. If you have a family dentist, tell us who they are and we can keep them informed.

Am I too old for this?

We see adults at any stage. We check with your dentist first that your gums and any dental work are ready.

How long does treatment take?

As a general range, braces take 12 to 30 months and clear aligners 6 to 24 months. That is not a promise. The orthodontist confirms your timing at consultation.

What does it cost?

You get a written quote after your records visit. Payment plans spread it out by month, and in-house plans carry no interest.

What if a wire or bracket comes loose?

Call (555) 013-3070 during opening hours. When we are closed, leave a message or send a photo through the patient portal and we will reply the next working morning.

Do I have to decide at the consult?

No. There is no pressure to decide on the day.
