Is your child sick today?

Start here. One question, then Wrenfold Children's Clinic takes it from there: a same-day sick visit, the nurse advice line, or a checkup booked for another day.

Visits

Every kind of visit, one clinic

Well visits are booked with the same clinician where we can. Sick visits go to whoever is free first.

Same-day sick visits

We keep time free for children who are unwell. You come in through the sick side door.

Nurse advice line

Not sure whether to come in? A pediatric nurse will talk it through and tell you where to go next.

Well-child checkups

Growth, development and your questions first, at each age from newborn to yearly visits.

New baby visits

A first visit within days of coming home, on the well side, with time for feeding and sleep questions.

Teen visits

Time alone with the clinician at yearly checkups, and a login of their own from 13.

Forms and records

School, camp, sports and daycare forms, ready to sign in the parent portal.

New here? You don't need to have it all worked out

From the weeks before the birth to switching clinics, here is how joining us usually goes.

1

Before the birth

A free 20 minute meet-the-clinic visit. See both doors, meet a clinician and ask how the first weeks work.

2

The first days home

Call us when you leave the hospital and we will find a first visit, usually within a few days.

3

The first month

We set up your parent portal and show you the nurse line, so you know who to call at any hour.

4

Switching clinics?

Sign one transfer form and we will request your child's records from the old clinic.

Questions

I'm not sure if my child needs to come in. What should I do?

Call the nurse line on (555) 014-2231. A pediatric nurse will talk it through with you and tell you where to go next.

Which door do we use?

Checkups, new babies and form visits use the well side. Same-day sick visits use the sick side.

What if you are closed?

Call the main number, (555) 014-2230. The on-call clinician will route you to the right place.

Can we wait in the car?

Yes. Text us from the parking lot and we will call you when your room is ready.

What should I bring to a first visit?

Hospital discharge papers, your insurance card and photo ID, any previous records, a spare diaper and the questions you wrote down at 3 AM.

How quickly will you answer a portal message?

Within one working day. The portal is for things that can wait, so please phone if your child is sick today.

Not today, but soon?

Book a checkup, or plan a first visit for a new baby.
