Questions

Do I need a referral?

Not in most cases. You can usually book with a physio directly. Some insurance plans ask for a doctor's referral first, so check your policy before you come.

How long is a first assessment?

Allow 45 minutes. A pelvic health or running assessment takes 60 minutes.

What should I wear?

For a knee, hip or ankle, shorts, so we can see the joint move. For a neck, shoulder or back, a vest top or sports top.

What should I bring after surgery?

Your surgeon's notes and rehab protocol, and your discharge notes.

What should I bring to a running assessment?

The shoes you run in, and a spare pair.

Is this an urgent care service?

No. We are an outpatient clinic. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
