Bakery-café · Mill Street, Dockside, Parkside

Bread at 4 AM, coffee by 7, three cafés

What we do

Coffee, the morning bake and bread for the town

Order from your phone, choose a pickup time, and skip the queue at the counter.

  2. The morning bake

Croissants, buns and loaves out of the oven from 6:00 AM, while they last.

  3. Quiet hours

From 2:00 PM on weekdays at Mill Street, music down and plugs at every bench.

  4. Office platters

Pastries, sandwiches and flasks of coffee for meetings of ten or more.

  5. Wholesale bread

Loaves and rolls delivered by bike to local kitchens before 7:00 AM.

  6. Gift cards

Any amount from $10, good at all three cafés.

How ordering ahead works

Choose a café

Mill Street, Dockside or Parkside. The menu is the same at all three.

Pick a pickup time

Times fill in 15-minute steps. A busy slot shows as full.

Pay and add a note

Pay when you order. Mention an allergy or an extra hot milk in the note.

Collect from the shelf

We text you when it is ready. Your name is on the cup and the bag.

Questions

Can I work on a laptop?

Yes. Mill Street keeps quiet hours from 2:00 PM on weekdays, with plugs at every bench. Dockside is takeaway only.

What if you sell out?

Bread goes first, usually by early afternoon. Order ahead to hold a loaf for later in the day.

Do you cater for allergies?

Every bake shares one kitchen, so tell the barista about any allergy before you order. They will check with the bakers.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome on the Parkside terrace, and there is a water bowl by the door.

Do you supply other businesses?

Yes. We deliver bread and pastries to local kitchens by bike. Ask about the wholesale round.

Can I order for a meeting?

Office platters need 24 hours' notice and start at ten people. Collect from any café or ask about delivery.
