Bee Brand Guidelines
The casino deck under the Belgian giant.

Two constants: a Bee-blue palette and a casino-sans register. Abstract homage — not a Bee product or mark; no card, diamond or logo is reproduced.
The casino deck under the Belgian giant
Bee is the borderless No. 92 diamond-back (1892, the casino table’s card) that, like Bicycle, is a USPCC brand owned since 2019 by Belgium’s Cartamundi.
Bee follows Bicycle as the round’s casino-deck node — the borderless card that runs the casino table, and the second brand in a row to reveal the same Belgian owner. Its answer to a round about who owns the deck is the reinforcement: the casino’s card, also Cartamundi’s.
Its identity is the casino deck under the Belgian giant. The 1892 origin, the No. 92 diamond-back and the Cartamundi ownership are the story here. The table’s card, same parent. The casino deck under the Belgian giant.
(Honest notes, so the origin, the ownership, the products and a note are framed accurately. Bee sells playing cards as its heroes — the No. 92 Club Special; we report its language as the brand’s own. On origin: Bee No. 92 “Club Special” was first made in 1892 by the New York Consolidated Card Company, the stock number “92” taken from the year 1892, and folded into USPCC in 1894. On ownership: Bee is a USPCC brand, so it has belonged to the Belgian maker Cartamundi since 2019, the same chain as Bicycle. On the products: the signature borderless diamond-back, in red or blue, is casino-grade, and casinos use customized Bee cards with a logo added to the diamond backs. On a note: “No. 92” is a stock number from 1892, not a model count, and the making is attributed to USPCC, at Erlanger, Kentucky, and Álava, Spain. Its designs and the Bee name are IP we describe but do not reproduce; there is no official brand hex; these tones are an unofficial interpretation.)
Colour
Bee lives in a Bee blue. Click a swatch to copy the hex.
Bee’s identity is casino-grade, USPCC-owned and functional — a Bee blue, an ink, a pale blue, a deep navy, and a paper. The palette leans Bee blue and deep navy: a clean, functional register that stands in for the casino table’s card rather than a loud logo colour. It signals the casino deck under the Belgian giant — casino-grade, USPCC-owned and functional. The honest caveat: with no official brand hex, these values are a functional, unofficial interpretation, not first-party colours.
The lesson is a Bee blue signals a casino-grade, functional identity. Bee’s world is the casino table and the borderless back. For designers, it is a reminder that a clean blue and a pale blue can carry a casino-grade, functional brand — a functional tone held as an accent, not a product shot. Because a mid hue can fail as small text, keep type dark and let the colour live in the accents, palette and band. The takeaways: date the origin to 1892 via New York Consolidated; explain the No. 92 stock number; name the USPCC and Cartamundi ownership; and note the casino customisation.
Typography
The register is a casino sans — casino-grade, USPCC-owned, functional.
Bee’s identity carries a casino-grade, functional spirit — the card built for the table. A casino sans captures the mood: clean, precise and serious, the register of a working deck. Set in a Bee-blue palette, the casino sans feels dependable and exact — exactly the personality Bee carries. It behaves like a made, functional thing rather than a loud logo, mirroring a suit-band and a pip-ring. (Bee’s real products and the name are things we describe but do not reproduce, and the exact typeface is not ours to use.) Because it is not ours to use, the honest description is “a casino-sans brand,” shown here in a stand-in. The type behaves like the brand: casino-grade, USPCC-owned and functional.

The playing-card node
Bee stands for the casino deck under the Belgian giant.
Bee sits second in the round as its casino-deck node. A Bee-blue palette, a casino sans and an 1892 origin make one thing — the casino deck under the Belgian giant — the whole identity: casino-grade, USPCC-owned and functional. The 1892 origin is the pitch, the No. 92 diamond-back is the substance, and the Cartamundi ownership is the frame. The point is the casino’s card, also Cartamundi’s, in a round about who owns the deck.
Put to work, the identity is the brand told straight, the stock number explained and the ownership named. A brand in this spirit would date the origin to 1892 via New York Consolidated, explain the No. 92 stock number, name the USPCC and Cartamundi ownership, and note the casino customisation. A reader in this spirit would keep the facts right: Bee makes casino-grade decks; it dates to 1892; it is a USPCC brand; and USPCC has belonged to Cartamundi since 2019. Bee sits after Bicycle and before Copag. The honest editorial moves are to date the origin, to explain the number, to name the ownership, and to note the customisation.
For designers and brand-builders, Bee carries the playing-card node: reinforce the parent — a second national brand, same owner. The lessons: a second familiar brand can share the first’s overseas parent, here Bee under Cartamundi like Bicycle; an origin is dated to 1892, first made by the New York Consolidated Card Company, the stock number “92” from the year 1892, folded into USPCC in 1894; an ownership is named, that Bee is a USPCC brand and so has belonged to the Belgian maker Cartamundi since 2019; products are described, the borderless No. 92 diamond-back in red or blue, casino-grade, with casinos using customized Bee cards logo-printed on the diamond backs; and a note is kept, that “No. 92” is a stock number, not a model count, with the making attributed to USPCC at Erlanger, Kentucky and Álava, Spain. It is also a reminder to stay precise: Bee is the casino-grade USPCC brand of the card aisle, same Belgian owner as Bicycle — with the palette here an unofficial interpretation. The hook is that ownership: Bee is the casino deck under the Belgian giant, the borderless No. 92 diamond-back from 1892, the casino table’s card, that like Bicycle is a USPCC brand owned since 2019 by Belgium’s Cartamundi. Read that way, Bee is less a single deck than the casino deck under the Belgian giant: casino-grade, USPCC-owned, functional. The lesson for a brand is that reinforcing the parent with a second national brand under the same owner reinforces the honesty, and dating the origin keeps it earned. Bee made the-casino-deck-under-the-Belgian-giant the identity — proof that a second national brand can reinforce a node.
