A telehealth visit takes a patient from a waiting room with a camera and microphone check, into the video consultation, and out to a visit summary. Our screens show each step: device check and appointment details, the in-call view with mute, camera and end-call controls, and an after-visit summary with prescriptions and follow-up, designed for web and mobile across eight visual styles, light and dark. Every example is an original design that comes with its HTML code and a DESIGN.md of colour, type and spacing tokens, in light and dark. Free to use and adapt.

Find a doctor and have a video visit

Telehealth visit design tips

Let patients test their camera, microphone and connection in the waiting room before the doctor joins.
Keep call controls large, labelled and always visible, especially end call and mute.
Show appointment details and the doctor's name during the call, so patients know who they are speaking with.
End with a plain-language summary: what was discussed, prescriptions sent, and how to book a follow-up.

Questions

What should a telehealth waiting room include?

A camera preview, microphone and speaker checks, the appointment time and doctor, a status message such as 'Your doctor will join shortly', and a clear join button.

What goes in an after-visit summary?

A plain-language note of what was discussed, any prescriptions and where they were sent, next steps, a follow-up booking option and billing or insurance status.
