A testimonials section uses customer voices to make a product's claims believable. Our examples feature a dark featured quote card with a result metric plus two customer quotes with star ratings, names, roles and initials avatars, designed for web and mobile in eight visual styles, each in light and dark themes. Every example is an original design that comes with its HTML code and a DESIGN.md of colour, type and spacing tokens, in light and dark. Free to use and adapt.

Three to six quotes is usually enough for a section, with one featured more prominently. Quality matters more than quantity. If you have many, a carousel or a link to a full customer stories page keeps the section focused without hiding the evidence.
They save space, but visitors often see only the first slide, and auto-rotation can be hard to read and inaccessible. A static grid of a few strong quotes is usually more effective. If you use a carousel, give it manual controls and pause on hover and focus.
Photos can add credibility, but only with permission and real customers. An initials avatar with a full name and role is a solid alternative and avoids the stock-photo look that makes readers doubt a quote. Never use stock images to represent a quoted person.
