AI settings design tips

Mask API keys after they are saved and show only the last few characters, with copy, rotate and revoke actions.
Put usage and spend next to the limit that controls it, so people can see how close they are before they hit it.
Explain model choices in plain terms (speed, cost, quality) instead of listing only model names.
Group voice and behaviour options separately from billing and keys, since different people manage them.

Questions

How should API keys be displayed in settings?

Show a key in full only once, when it is created. After that, display a masked version with the last four characters, its creation date and last use, plus actions to copy, rotate or revoke it.

What usage information belongs on an AI settings page?

Current usage against a monthly limit, spend so far, a simple trend, and a control to set or change the limit. Alerts at thresholds such as 80% help avoid surprise cut-offs.
