A week-view calendar shows how time is committed across days so people can plan around it. Our screens include a week time grid with colour-coded and overlapping events, an all-day row, a mini month for quick navigation and toggles for individual calendars, designed for web and mobile in eight visual styles with light and dark themes. Every example is an original design that comes with its HTML code and a DESIGN.md of colour, type and spacing tokens, in light and dark. Free to use and adapt.

Most split the time slot into columns, so overlapping events sit side by side at reduced width, sometimes with a slight offset so the later one appears in front. Each event still starts and ends at its correct position. When too many overlap, a compact summary that opens a list keeps the grid readable.
Week view suits most work calendars because it balances detail with context. Day view suits busy schedules on small screens, and month view suits planning ahead. Remember the last view each person chose, and on mobile consider a day or three-day view as the default.
Give each calendar a distinct hue, keep the set limited to around eight to twelve options, and check that event text meets contrast requirements on every one. Let people change colours themselves. In dark mode, reduce saturation slightly so blocks do not glare against the background.
