Pagination splits a long list into pages people can step through. These examples show previous and next links, numbered pages, the current page, collapsed gaps and a result range, wrapped in a nav labelled Pagination with aria-current on the current page. On phones they fold down to previous, current and next. Eight styles, light and dark, with HTML, CSS and a small demo script. Every example is an original design that comes with its HTML code and a DESIGN.md of colour, type and spacing tokens, in light and dark. Free to use and adapt.

Pagination suits lists people come back to, compare or share (search results, catalogues, archives) because each page has an address. Infinite scroll suits feeds people browse once. A Load more button is a middle ground.
Put aria-current="page" on the current page's link and give the whole control a nav landmark with aria-label="Pagination". Screen readers then announce the current page and let people jump straight to the control.
