A video player page has to play content well and help viewers decide what to watch next. Our examples show a player with chapters and controls, a creator row, likes and an up-next list, designed for web and mobile across eight visual styles from minimal to retro, each with light and dark themes. Every example is an original design that comes with its HTML code and a DESIGN.md of colour, type and spacing tokens, in light and dark. Free to use and adapt.

Play and pause, a seek bar, current time and duration, volume, captions, settings for quality and speed, and full screen are the core set. Picture-in-picture and chapters are useful additions. Group the essentials and move the rest into a settings menu.
Autoplaying the next video is common, but it should be easy to turn off and show a short countdown with a cancel option first. Autoplay with sound on page load is generally poorly received and blocked by most browsers.
Chapters break a long video into labelled sections, so viewers can scan the structure and jump straight to what they need. Show them as markers on the progress bar and as a list below or beside the player with timestamps.
