Your invoice is created on your device and never uploaded. Your details are remembered in this browser only, so your next invoice is quicker (use “Clear all” on shared computers). “Next invoice” bumps the number and clears the items. This tool doesn’t give tax advice — check what your invoices must include where you trade.

Frequently asked questions

What should a receipt include?

Your business name and contact details, a receipt number, the date of payment, what was paid for, the amount (with any tax shown), and the customer's name.

Is a receipt the same as an invoice?

No — an invoice asks for payment; a receipt confirms payment was received. Untick “Paid” to turn the document into an invoice.

Should receipts be used for my own expenses?

Receipts should only record real payments you received. For expense claims, keep the original receipt from the seller.

Is my information saved?

Only in this browser, so the next one is quicker. Nothing is uploaded. Use Clear all on a shared computer.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no limits and no watermark.
