Image Splitter
Split an image into a grid or carousel online for free — 1×3, 2×3, 3×3 or any custom grid of equal tiles, or seamless Instagram carousel slides at 1:1 or 4:5. Tiles are numbered in posting order and download as a ZIP. Runs 100% in your browser.
100% private — your images never leave your browser. Conversion happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.
Dimmed areas are cropped away so every tile is the same size. With Instagram posting order on, post tile 01 first and the last tile last — the grid then assembles correctly on your profile. Your image never leaves your device.

How do I split an image for an Instagram grid?
Choose 3 × 3 (or 1 × 3 / 2 × 3), keep “Square tiles” and “Instagram posting order” on, and download. Post the tiles starting with 01 — the last one you post appears top-left, so the grid lines up on your profile.
How do I make a seamless carousel?
Switch to “Instagram carousel slides”, choose the number of slides and the shape (1:1 or 4:5). The image is cut into side-by-side slides at 1080 px wide, so it flows across when people swipe.
Why is part of my image dimmed?
To make equal square tiles or carousel slides, the image is centre-cropped to the right overall shape. Turn off “Square tiles” to split the whole image as-is.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
