Bear Coloring Pages
Make free printable bear coloring pages from 12 pictures we drew ourselves: a bear walking, a bear sitting, a bear cub, a bear asleep in its den, a bear catching a fish in a river, a bear by a berry bush, a mother bear with two cubs, a polar bear on the ice, a panda with bamboo, a teddy bear with a bow, a big bear face, and an easy bear with big shapes for little ones. The bears are our own drawings, with no film, cartoon or toy-brand bears, so the pages suit any home or classroom. Print one big picture on a page, a grid of four or six small pictures, a forest scene, a fold-in-half card, or a bear mandala with a new pattern at the press of a button. Blank teddy bears to design prints 1, 2, 4 or 6 plain teddy outlines per page, for children to add their own patches, clothes and patterns; one bear fills a 186 mm square on US Letter. Add a “Bear Hugs” poster in hollow letters, type a child’s name for a name page, or paste a class list to get the same picture for everyone with each name at the top. Choose simple, medium or detailed lines, never thinner than 0.5 mm. Download one multi-page PDF for US Letter or A4, a 300 DPI PNG of every page, or an SVG. No sign-up, no watermark.
100% private — everything runs in your browser. Names stay in your browser; the PDF, PNG and SVG are made on your device.
Page
Runs in your browser with our own code; names and words never leave your device, and nothing is saved. Every picture is our own drawing, black lines on white, with no characters, brands or logos. The blank teddy bears are plain outlines with a face, for drawing your own patches, clothes and patterns. The designs are our own drawings: you may use them and anything you make with them, including things you sell, with no credit needed. The lettering fonts keep their own open licenses.

Bears we drew, and what we read
| Picture | How we drew it | What we read |
|---|---|---|
| Bear catching a fish | A bear standing in a river with a fish leaping up | National Park Service (Kenai Fjords): coastal brown bears feed on salmon |
| Bear and a berry bush | A sitting bear beside a bush full of berries | National Park Service: berries are a large part of what brown and black bears eat |
| Bear asleep in its den | A bear curled up asleep in a snowy den | National Park Service: bears spend the winter in dens, and cubs are born during hibernation |
| Polar bear on the ice | A long-necked bear on a floe of sea ice | U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service: polar bears depend on sea ice and hunt seals |
| Panda with bamboo | A sitting bear with eye patches holding a bamboo stalk | Smithsonian’s National Zoo: the giant panda is a black-and-white bear that eats bamboo |
The drawings are simple shapes for coloring, not field guides; the walking, sitting and cub pictures are not drawn as any one species, and colors are up to you.
Blank teddy bears to design
| Teddy bears per page | Each fits (US Letter) | Each fits (A4) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 186 mm square | 181 mm square |
| 2 | 120 mm square | 129 mm square |
| 4 | 89 mm square | 86 mm square |
| 6 | 77 mm square | 83 mm square |
Sizes are for the page with No title chosen; a title at the top makes them a little smaller. Each blank teddy bear is the head, ears, body, arms, feet and a face, so the patches, clothes and patterns are up to you.
Simple to detailed lines
| Lines | Outlines | Small details | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Simple | 1.8 mm | 1.4 mm | Toddlers, chunky crayons, big markers |
| Medium | 1.1 mm | 0.8 mm | Most children, colored pencils |
| Detailed | 0.75 mm | 0.5 mm | Older children and adults, fine pens and pencils |
Line widths are measured at print size. The thinnest line on any page is 0.5 mm, so every shape stays open to color.

Are these bear coloring pages free?
Yes. Every page is free to make, download and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. All the pictures are our own drawings.
Which bears are included?
A bear walking, sitting, as a cub, asleep in its den, catching a fish and by a berry bush, a mother bear with cubs, a polar bear, a panda, a teddy bear, a bear face and an easy bear. Only the polar bear and the panda are named, after the sources we read; the other wild bears are not drawn as any one species.
Is the teddy bear from a brand or a film?
No. The teddy bear is our own plain drawing with round ears, a bow and stitching, with no brand, label, clothes or character’s look.
Can children design their own teddy bear?
Yes. Choose Blank teddy bears to design and pick 1, 2, 4 or 6 per page. Each is a plain sitting bear with a face, ready for patches, clothes or patterns. With no title, one bear fills a 186 mm square on US Letter; six fill 77 mm squares.
Why is there a bear asleep in a den?
The National Park Service says bears spend the winter in dens and that cubs are born there, so the den picture suits a winter or hibernation topic.
Which bear pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?
Choose Simple lines: big shapes with thick outlines. The bear face and the easy bear have the fewest shapes, as the table shows.
Can I make a page for every child in my class?
Yes. Choose Class set, pick a picture and paste the names, one per line, up to 40. Each child gets the same picture with their own name in hollow letters at the top, all in one PDF.
Are there bear coloring pages for adults?
Yes. Choose Bear mandala with Detailed lines: each pattern number gives a different symmetric design. Choose 16 repeats for the most intricate pattern.
Can I use the pages for things I sell?
Yes. The designs are our own drawings, so you may use the pages and what you make with them, including things you sell, without giving credit.
How do I print the coloring pages?
Download the PDF and print it on plain paper. Choose 100% or Actual size to keep the margins and sizes as drawn; Fit to page also works if your printer cuts off the edges.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Names and words are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
