Candy Cane Coloring Pages

Make free printable candy cane coloring pages from 7 pictures we drew ourselves: a striped candy cane with holly, two candy canes with a bow, a candy cane heart, a candy cane wreath, a jar of candy canes, wrapped peppermints, and a tree hung with candy canes. The pictures are our own drawings, with no characters from books, films or toys and no candy brands, so the pages suit any home, table or classroom. Every cane has slanted stripes, each a closed shape to color: Simple has wide stripes, Medium adds thin stripes between them, and Detailed adds a dot in each gap. Blank candy canes to stripe prints 1, 2, 4 or 6 plain cane outlines per page for your own stripes and patterns. Print one big picture, a grid of small pictures, a candy cane lane scene, a fold-in-half card, or a peppermint mandala. The lettering poster spells out “Sweet Season” with Christmas Day worked out for any year from 2025 to 2035. Add a name page or a class set, and choose simple, medium or detailed lines, never thinner than 0.5 mm. Download a PDF for US Letter or A4, a 300 DPI PNG of every page, or an SVG. No sign-up, no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

Are these candy cane coloring pages free?

Yes. Every page is free to make, download and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. All the pictures are our own drawings.

Can children draw their own stripes?

Yes. Choose Blank candy canes to stripe and pick 1, 2, 4 or 6 per page. Each is a plain cane outline, ready for stripes, dots or zigzags in any colors. With no title, one cane fills a 186 mm square on US Letter.

What colors are candy canes?

Red and white stripes are the classic look, often with a thin green stripe. Try other pairs too: green and white, pink and white, or a rainbow of stripes on the blank canes.

When is Christmas in 2026?

Christmas Day is Friday, December 25, 2026. In 2027 it falls on Saturday, December 25, 2027 (the U.S. Office of Personnel Management lists Friday, December 24 as the federal holiday that year). The poster can show the date for any year from 2025 to 2035.

Which candy cane pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?

Choose Simple lines: big shapes with thick outlines. The striped candy cane and the tree hung with candy canes have the fewest shapes, as the table shows.

Can I make a page for every child in my class?

Yes. Choose Class set, pick a picture and paste the names, one per line, up to 40. Each child gets the same picture with their own name in hollow letters at the top, all in one PDF.

Are there candy cane coloring pages for adults?

Yes. Choose Peppermint mandala with Detailed lines: each pattern number gives a different symmetric design. Choose 16 repeats for the most intricate pattern.

How do I print the coloring pages?

Download the PDF and print it on plain paper. Choose 100% or Actual size to keep the margins and sizes as drawn; Fit to page also works if your printer cuts off the edges.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Names and words are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
