Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a PDF?

Drop the PDF in and drag a box over the area you want to keep (or enter margins in millimetres). Pick whether to crop all pages or only the current one, then click “Crop & download”.

Can I crop every page the same way?

Yes — “All pages” applies the same crop to every page. If your pages are different sizes, the crop is applied proportionally to each page.

Is the content outside the crop deleted?

It's hidden, not deleted: the tool sets the page's visible area (CropBox and MediaBox), which every viewer and printer respects. Re-cropping with a bigger box can bring it back.

Does cropping reduce quality?

No. Nothing is re-rendered — text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.

Can I crop a password-protected PDF?

Encrypted PDFs need to be unlocked first. Use our Unlock PDF tool, then crop the unlocked copy.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Cropping runs entirely in your browser, so your document never leaves your device.
