Christmas Gift Tags
Make printable Christmas gift tags for free. Pick one of 12 designs we drew ourselves, or mix them on one sheet: holly corners, red plaid, candy stripes, night snow, kraft and twine, forest trees and more. Choose To and From tags with lines to write on, or paste a names list and get one tag per person, with the name already printed. Tag shapes include a classic clipped tag, round, scalloped circle, bauble and ribbon end, and square-cornered tags can be foldable, opening like a small card with the inside left blank for a note. Every sheet is true size on US Letter or A4, with hole marks and thin cut lines you can turn off. Download a PDF, a 300 DPI PNG for each sheet, single tags as PNGs, or an SVG cut file. No sign-up, no watermark.

Printing and finishing tips
- Print one sheet on plain paper first and check the 50 mm line.
- Use thin card in the printer’s heavy or card paper setting.
- Colour runs 1 mm past the cut lines when the gap is 2 mm or more, so a slightly off cut does not leave a white edge.
- Punch the hole last, and thread ribbon, twine or baker’s string through it.
- Round and bauble shapes are quicker to cut with a craft punch or a cutting machine.

Frequently asked questions
How do I print Christmas gift tags?
Download the PDF and print it at 100%, “Actual size”, not “Fit to page”. A line at the foot of the sheet should measure 50 mm; if it does, the tags are true size. Thin card holds up better on a gift than plain paper.
Can I make a tag for each name?
Yes. Type or paste the names into the list, one per line, and you get one tag for each. Add a comma to set the sender as well, for example Mia, Grandma. Copies of each name can go up to 50.
Can I make Christmas name tags?
Yes. Choose Big name: the name fills the tag, with the greeting small underneath. They work for stockings, place settings, party bags and Secret Santa.
What size is a gift tag?
There is no single standard. 2 × 3 inches is a common size, and this tool also has mini, large and metric sizes, plus any custom size. The table on this page shows how many fit on a sheet.
How do foldable tags work?
Tick Foldable. Each tag prints as two panels side by side with a dashed fold line: the design on the front, a small picture on the back. Fold it, punch through the mark on both panels, and write your note inside.
Can I use names in Chinese, Korean, Arabic or Russian?
Yes. Text outside the basic Latin set is drawn with your device’s fonts and placed in the PDF as a 600 DPI picture. It depends on your device having a font for that script.
Can I cut them with a cutting machine?
Yes. The SVG cut file has only the tag outlines, hole circles and fold lines, at true size. Single tags (ZIP of PNGs) gives each tag as its own picture for machines that cut around a printed image; add any registration marks in your machine’s software.
Is there a black-and-white version?
Yes. Tick Black and white: every design prints as line art on white, ready to colour in and easy on ink.
Are my names uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, names are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
