Why convert a GIF to MP4?
MP4 video is usually much smaller than a GIF with the same animation, plays more smoothly, and is accepted by platforms that don't take GIFs.
Does the MP4 loop?
MP4 files don't loop by themselves (though many players and sites loop short videos). Choose “Repeat” to make the video play the animation several times.
What about transparent GIFs?
MP4 doesn't support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose.
Is my video uploaded?
