How do I convert CSV to XLSX?
Drop the CSV in and click Download Excel. The separator (comma, semicolon or tab) is detected automatically.
Can I combine several CSV files?
Yes — select several files at once and each becomes its own sheet, named after the file.
Why convert instead of opening the CSV in Excel?
Opening a CSV directly can strip leading zeros and misread dates or decimals depending on your region. A converted XLSX keeps the values as they appear in the CSV.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser with the open-source SheetJS library, so spreadsheets with customer or financial data stay on your device.
What about formulas and formatting?
Formulas are exported as their calculated values. Colours, fonts and merged cells aren't part of CSV or JSON, so they aren't carried over.
