Slug Generator
Turn any title into a clean, SEO-friendly URL slug for free — accents are transliterated (café → cafe, ß → ss), & becomes “and”, apostrophes are dropped and everything else becomes hyphens. Optionally remove stop words, cap the length at a word boundary, keep non-Latin letters, or switch to underscores. Paste many titles, one per line, to slugify them in bulk.

What makes a good URL slug?
Short, lowercase, words separated by hyphens, and descriptive of the page — usually 3–6 words and under ~60 characters.
Should I remove stop words like “the” and “and”?
Often it makes slugs shorter and cleaner, but keep them if removing them changes the meaning.
Hyphens or underscores?
Hyphens — search engines treat hyphens as word separators, while underscores join words.
Does it handle accents and other languages?
Accented Latin letters are converted to plain ones. Tick “Keep non-Latin letters” to keep Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese and Korean words.
