How to curve text

  1. Type your text in the box.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make curved text?

Type your text, then move the Curve slider: positive values arch the text upward like a rainbow and negative values bend it into a smile. Use the quick-shape buttons for an arch, half circle or full circle, then download it.

How do I make text go in a full circle?

Click “Full circle”. The text wraps almost all the way round, leaving a small gap where the first and last letters meet. Add letter spacing or more words to fill the circle evenly.

Can I download curved text with a transparent background?

Yes. PNG downloads are transparent unless you tick Fill under Background. Choose 2× or 4× export size for sharp results in print.

Can I use the SVG in Cricut Design Space or Illustrator?

Yes. The SVG keeps each letter as a separate text element in place on the curve. If the font isn't installed on your computer, convert the text to outlines (or install the Google Font) after importing.

Which fonts are available?

14 fonts, including Google Fonts such as Montserrat, Bebas Neue, Oswald, Playfair Display, Cinzel, Lobster, Pacifico and Permanent Marker, plus Arial, Georgia and Impact.
