How do I add page numbers to a PDF?
Drop the PDF in — page numbers are already switched on. Choose a format and position, then click “Add page numbers” to download the numbered copy.
Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?
Yes. Set “Start at” to any number — useful when a document continues from an earlier part.
What number styles are available?
A plain number (1), “Page 1”, or a page-of-total style (1 / 10). Numbers can sit at the bottom center, bottom right or bottom left.
Can I add a watermark at the same time?
Yes. Type text in the watermark box or upload an image and both are applied in one pass. Leave the watermark empty for page numbers only.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Page numbers are added in your browser, so your document never leaves your device.
