Graduation Card

Make a graduation card and print it at home. Choose one of our own designs: cap and tassel, diploma scroll, laurel wreath, gold stars, balloons, minimal line, kids’ colour-in. Type the class year (any year from 2025 to 2035) and it goes into the words, pick the school colours, write the message inside and print it folded (side fold, top fold or a one-sided quarter fold) on US Letter or A4, or as a flat 5 × 7 in card. Add a money pocket sized for a US bill or a sleeve for a gift card: cut it out, fold it and glue it inside. Free, with no sign-up and no watermark.

Nothing to upload. Cards are made in your browser.

Sheet previews show how the PDF prints: upside-down panels are correct, they turn the right way up when the card is folded.

How to make a graduation card

  1. Pick a design and a greeting, and type the class year.
  2. Change the words, the fonts and the colours if you like.
  3. Write the message inside, or choose fill-in prompts for wishes.
  4. Choose the fold, the card size and US Letter or A4, then download the PDF.
  5. Tick the money pocket or gift card sleeve and download the holder PDF.
  6. Print at 100% on card stock, fold and add your gift.

What you can use it for

  • A card with cash for a high school or college graduate

  • A class-coloured card for a niece or grandson
  • A colour-in card the kids make for an older sibling
  • A card image to send by message on the day

The tool picks the way the bill goes in so the closed pocket fits inside the card with 5 mm to spare. Each holder is a back panel, a shorter front with a thumb notch and two 10 mm glue tabs; the holder PDF has a 50 mm check line so you can confirm it printed at full size.

Inside wording ideas

Ready-made messages, all our own: congratulations and pride, a toast to the next adventure, a note for a gift. Or choose fill-in prompts with writing lines: My favourite memory with you is; My wish for you is; My advice for what comes next.

The small line under the greeting holds the class year or a name, such as Class of 2027 or Congrats, Avery.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the class year?

Yes. Type any year from 2025 to 2035; every ready-made greeting with a year (Class of 2027, Graduate · 2027) changes with it. Your own words stay as you type them.

How do the folds work?

Side fold opens like a book and top fold opens upwards; both print on two sides (the PDF tells you which edge to flip on). Quarter fold prints on one side of the sheet: fold it in half twice. The PDF turns the panels so they read the right way up once folded; we check this by folding the sheet in software for every size.

What size is the money pocket?

It is sized for a US bill, 6.14 × 2.61 in (156 × 66.3 mm, the note size the U.S. Currency Education Program gives), with 3 mm of room on each side. On a 4 1/4 × 5 1/2 in card the bill goes in folded in half; on a 5 × 7 in card it goes in flat, standing up.

Can I add a gift card?

Yes. The gift card sleeve fits a standard bank-card-size card (ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1, 85.6 × 54 mm) and is cut and folded the same way as the money pocket.

Which card sizes fit on one sheet?

A 4 1/4 × 5 1/2 in card with a side fold prints two per US Letter sheet; a 5 × 7 in card prints one. A flat 5 × 7 in card prints 2 per Letter sheet. The table on this page lists every size and fold.

Can I print it at home?

Yes. Print at 100% (Actual size) on card stock. For a two-sided card, print page 1, put the sheet back as the PDF says and print page 2; or use your printer’s two-sided setting.

Is there a version kids can colour in?

Yes. The kids’ colour-in design prints black outlines on white: a cap, a diploma, stars and outlined letters.

Can I sell cards I make with it?

Yes. The designs are our own drawings: you may use them and anything you make with them, including things you sell, with no credit needed.

Are my words uploaded?

No. The card, the PDFs and the images are made in your browser and nothing is saved.
