Pot of Gold Template
Print a pot of gold template for free. You get a round pot on two feet, with or without a heap of gold on top, and as many coins as you like to cut out and glue spilling over the rim. Choose what goes on the coins: lines to write a wish, a shamrock, numbers for counting, or a plain coin with a rim. Pick the coin size to match a hole punch or a big class display, from 3/4 in to 3 in. Set the pot height from 3 in to a full page, or a poster up to 36 in tiled over several sheets, type names to print one on each pot, and fill the sheet for a class set. Print the outline to colour, or a colour version with a black pot and gold coins. A check square shows the print is true size. Download a PDF on US Letter or A4, an SVG cut file or a PNG. No sign-up, no watermark.

See all free tools →Frequently asked questions
What sizes can I print?
Pots from 2 in up to about 8.9 in tall on one sheet of US Letter (8.7 in on A4), and posters up to 36 in tiled over several sheets. The tables on this page show the width and how many pots fit on a sheet.
What size are the coins?
You choose: 3/4 in, 1 in, 1 1/2 in, 2 in or 3 in across. 3/4 in and 1 in match common round hole punches, if you would rather punch coins from gold card.
What are write-a-wish coins?
Coins with “I wish…” and two lines to write on, for a wish wall or a class pot. They need coins of 1 in or more; smaller coins print plain.
Is there a colour version?
Yes: tick “Print in colour” for a black pot with gold coins and a gold heap. Leave it unticked for an outline to colour in.
Is there a leprechaun?
No. The pot, the gold and the coins are our own plain drawings, with no characters, so the page suits any home or classroom.
How do I check the print is the right size?
Measure the check square on the first sheet: it must be exactly 1 in (or 2 cm with cm units) on each side. If it is smaller, print again at 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page.
Can I use it with a Cricut or Silhouette?
Yes. Download the SVG: it is true size in millimetres, with the cut lines on their own layer.
Can I sell things I make with this pot of gold?
The designs are our own drawings: you may use them and anything you make with them, including things you sell, with no credit needed.
