Gingerbread Man Coloring Pages

Make free printable gingerbread man coloring pages from 7 pictures we drew ourselves: a gingerbread person with icing and buttons, one with an iced dress, two cookies holding hands, a gingerbread house, a cookie sheet, a plate of iced cookies, and a rolling pin with cookie cutters. The pictures are our own drawings, not characters from songs, books, films or toys, so the pages suit any home, table or classroom. Print one big picture, a grid of small pictures, a gingerbread village scene, a fold-in-half card, or a cookie mandala. Blank cookies to decorate prints 1, 2, 4 or 6 plain gingerbread outlines per page, so children can draw their own icing, buttons and faces. The lettering poster spells out “Happy Baking” in hollow letters, with Christmas Day worked out for any year from 2025 to 2035: Friday, December 25, 2026. Add a name page or a class set, and choose simple, medium or detailed lines, never thinner than 0.5 mm. Download a PDF for US Letter or A4, a 300 DPI PNG of every page, or an SVG. No sign-up, no watermark.

Printing tips

  • Every page keeps a 12.7 mm (half inch) margin from the paper edge, on US Letter and A4.
  • Plain paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use thicker paper or card for markers, paint and anything you cut out.
  • Print one page first and check it before printing a whole pack or class set.
  • Choose Detailed lines only with fine pens or sharp pencils, and Simple lines with chunky crayons.

Frequently asked questions

Are these gingerbread man coloring pages free?

Yes. Every page is free to make, download and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. All the pictures are our own drawings.

Can children decorate their own gingerbread man?

Yes. Choose Blank cookies to decorate and pick 1, 2, 4 or 6 cookies per page. Each is a plain outline with no face or icing, ready for drawing. With no title, one cookie fills a 186 mm square on US Letter; six fill 77 mm squares.

Is this the gingerbread man from the story?

No. The cookies are our own drawings of plain gingerbread people, with icing, buttons and a smile, and no figures from books or films.

When is Christmas in 2026?

Christmas Day is Friday, December 25, 2026. In 2027 it falls on Saturday, December 25, 2027 (the U.S. Office of Personnel Management lists Friday, December 24 as the federal holiday that year). The poster can show the date for any year from 2025 to 2035.

Which gingerbread pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?

Choose Simple lines: big shapes with thick outlines. The two gingerbread cookies holding hands and the rolling pin and cookie cutters have the fewest shapes, as the table shows.

Can I make a page for every child in my class?

Yes. Choose Class set, pick a picture and paste the names, one per line, up to 40. Each child gets the same picture with their own name in hollow letters at the top, all in one PDF.

Are there gingerbread coloring pages for adults?

Yes. Choose Cookie mandala with Detailed lines: each pattern number gives a different symmetric design. Choose 16 repeats for the most intricate pattern.

How do I print the coloring pages?

Download the PDF and print it on plain paper. Choose 100% or Actual size to keep the margins and sizes as drawn; Fit to page also works if your printer cuts off the edges.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Names and words are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
