Add Text to Video
Add text to a video for free — put a title, caption, label or call to action on your MP4, MOV or WebM video. Choose the size, colour, position and opacity, add a dark box for readability, and set when the text appears and disappears. No watermark; it's made privately in your browser.
100% private — your video is processed on your device, never uploaded. Conversion happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.
Videos are made by your browser with its built-in encoders (WebCodecs) and the open-source Mediabunny library — your photos, videos and music are never uploaded. Works best in recent Chrome, Edge and Safari.

How do I put text on a video?
Drop the video in, type your text, choose a position such as Bottom centre, and click Add text to video.
Can the text appear only for part of the video?
Yes — set “Show from” and “Until” in seconds. Leave “Until” at 0 to keep it to the end.
Can I add subtitles for the whole video?
For timed captions, use Add Subtitles to Video with an SRT file — or generate one automatically with the Subtitle Generator.
Is there a watermark?
No.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The video is read and encoded by your own browser using its built-in video encoders, so it never leaves your device — even large or private videos stay private.
