Animal Coloring Pages

Make free printable animal coloring pages from 8 animals we drew ourselves: a lion with its mane, an elephant with its long trunk, a giraffe with its spots, a bear, a rabbit, a fox with a bushy tail, an owl on a branch and a fish. Every picture is our own drawing, with no film, cartoon or toy characters, no mascots and no people, so the pages suit any home, party or classroom. Print one big animal on a page, a grid of four or six small animals, a woodland scene with a bear, a fox and a rabbit under the pine trees, a fold-in-half card, or an animal mandala with paw prints round the edge and a new pattern at the press of a button. Blank animals to design prints 1, 2, 4 or 6 plain bear outlines per page, so children can draw their own face, fur and patterns; one fills a 186 mm square on US Letter. Type a child’s name for a name page, or paste a class list to get the same animal for everyone with each name at the top. Choose simple, medium or detailed lines, never thinner than 0.5 mm. Download one multi-page PDF for US Letter or A4, a 300 DPI PNG of every page, or an SVG. No sign-up, no watermark.

Runs in your browser with our own code; names and words never leave your device, and nothing is saved. Every picture is our own drawing, black lines on white, with no characters, mascots, people or logos. The blank animals are plain bear outlines with no face or pattern, for drawing your own. The designs are our own drawings: you may use them and anything you make with them, including things you sell, with no credit needed. The lettering fonts keep their own open licenses.

Frequently asked questions

Are these animal coloring pages free?

Yes. Every page is free to make, download and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. All the pictures are our own drawings.

Which animals are on the pages?

A lion, an elephant, a giraffe, a bear, a rabbit, a fox, an owl on a branch and a fish. They are friendly drawings for coloring, not any particular species or breed, and none is a character from a film or cartoon.

Can children design their own animal?

Yes. Choose Blank animals to design and pick 1, 2, 4 or 6 per page. Each is a plain bear outline with no face, ready for a face, fur, stripes or spots. With no title, one fills a 186 mm square on US Letter; six fill 77 mm squares.

Which animal pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?

Choose Simple lines: big shapes with thick outlines. The fish and the fox have the fewest shapes, as the table shows.

Can I make a page for every child in my class?

Yes. Choose Class set, pick a picture and paste the names, one per line, up to 40. Each child gets the same picture with their own name in hollow letters at the top, all in one PDF.

Are there animal coloring pages for adults?

Yes. Choose Animal mandala with Detailed lines: each pattern number gives a different symmetric design. Choose 16 repeats for the most intricate pattern.

Can I sell what I make with these pages?

Yes. The pictures are our own drawings, and the note under the tool sets out how you may use them, including for things you sell.

How do I print the coloring pages?

Download the PDF and print it on plain paper. Choose 100% or Actual size to keep the margins and sizes as drawn; Fit to page also works if your printer cuts off the edges.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Names and words are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
