Snowman Coloring Pages

Make free printable snowman coloring pages from 7 pictures we drew ourselves: a snowman with a scarf and a bobble hat, a snowman family of three, a snowman in earmuffs and mittens, a big snowman face, a snow globe, a snowman by the pine trees, and snowflakes. The pictures are our own drawings, not characters from songs, books, films or toys, so the pages suit any home, table or classroom. Print one big picture on a page, a grid of four or six small pictures, a winter scene, a fold-in-half card, or a snowflake mandala with a new pattern at the press of a button. The build-a-snowman sheet prints the parts to color, cut out and glue together: three snowballs (up to 95, 76 and 57 mm across on US Letter), a bobble hat, a scarf, a carrot nose, two stick arms and five pieces of coal. The lettering poster spells out “Hello Winter” in hollow letters to color. Type a child’s name for a name page, or paste a class list to get the same picture for everyone with each name at the top. Choose simple, medium or detailed lines, never thinner than 0.5 mm. Download one multi-page PDF for US Letter or A4, a 300 DPI PNG of every page, or an SVG. No sign-up, no watermark.

The build-a-snowman page prints the parts to color, cut out and glue together. The designs are our own drawings: you may use them and anything you make with them, including things you sell, with no credit needed. The lettering fonts keep their own open licenses.

Printing tips

  • Every page keeps a 12.7 mm (half inch) margin from the paper edge, on US Letter and A4.
  • Plain paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use thicker paper or card for markers, paint and anything you cut out.
  • Print one page first and check it before printing a whole pack or class set.
  • Choose Detailed lines only with fine pens or sharp pencils, and Simple lines with chunky crayons.
  • Print the build-a-snowman sheet on card if the snowman will stand or hang.

Frequently asked questions

Are these snowman coloring pages free?

Yes. Every page is free to make, download and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. All the pictures are our own drawings.

How does the build-a-snowman page work?

Choose Build-a-snowman parts. The page prints three snowballs, a hat, a scarf, a carrot nose, two stick arms and five pieces of coal, laid out so no two parts touch. Color them, cut them out and glue them on paper to build your own snowman. With No title chosen, the snowballs are 95, 76 and 57 mm across on US Letter; a title at the top makes every part a little smaller.

Why is there no famous snowman?

The pictures are our own drawings, not characters from songs, books, films or toys, so the pages suit any home, table or classroom. Each snowman is drawn plainly: snowballs, a carrot nose, coal eyes and buttons, stick arms, a hat and a scarf.

Which snowman pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?

Choose Simple lines: big shapes with thick outlines. The big snowman face and the snow globe have the fewest shapes, as the table shows.

Can I make a page for every child in my class?

Yes. Choose Class set, pick a picture and paste the names, one per line, up to 40. Each child gets the same picture with their own name in hollow letters at the top, all in one PDF.

Are there snowman coloring pages for adults?

Yes. Choose Snowflake mandala with Detailed lines: each pattern number gives a different symmetric design. Choose 16 repeats for the most intricate pattern.

How do I print the coloring pages?

Download the PDF and print it on plain paper. Choose 100% or Actual size to keep the margins and sizes as drawn; Fit to page also works if your printer cuts off the edges.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Names and words are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
