Frequently asked questions

How do I sharpen a blurry picture?

Drop it in and raise Amount until details look crisp. Sharpening improves softness; it can't fully rescue a badly out-of-focus or motion-blurred photo.

What do amount, radius and threshold mean?

Amount is how strong the effect is, Radius is how wide the edges it enhances are, and Threshold skips small differences so noise and smooth areas stay clean.

Why does my image look grainy?

Too much sharpening exaggerates noise. Lower Amount or raise Threshold.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
