Trim Video
Trim video online for free — cut the start and end off MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV videos. Set the times by typing or by pausing the player and clicking “Now”, then choose a frame-accurate cut or an instant lossless cut. Runs privately in your browser: no upload, no watermark.
100% private — your video is processed on your device, never uploaded. Conversion happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.
Processing uses your browser’s built-in video encoders (WebCodecs) through the open-source Mediabunny library — your video is never uploaded. Works best in recent Chrome, Edge and Safari; the output is kept in memory, so very large files (several GB) may need a computer with plenty of RAM.

How do I cut a video?
Set the start and end times (type them or use the Now buttons while the video is paused), then click Trim video. Download the trimmed MP4 when it's ready.
What's the difference between frame-accurate and lossless?
Frame-accurate re-encodes the video so it starts exactly where you chose. The lossless option copies the video untouched and is instant, but can only start at the nearest keyframe, so it may begin a fraction of a second earlier.
Can I remove a section from the middle?
Not yet — this tool keeps one continuous part. Trim twice and join the parts in a video editor if you need to remove a middle section.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The video is read and encoded by your own browser using its built-in video encoders, so it never leaves your device — even large or private videos stay private.
Is there a file size limit?
There's no upload limit. The finished video is held in memory before download, so files up to a few GB work on most computers; very large files need more RAM.
Which browsers work?
Recent Chrome, Edge and Safari work best (they have hardware video encoders). Firefox 130+ works for most files.
