Spring Coloring Pages

Make free printable spring coloring pages from 15 pictures we drew ourselves: a tulip, a daffodil, a butterfly, a bee, a ladybug, a bird in a nest, rain boots, an umbrella in the rain, a rainbow, a kite, a sprout in a pot, a watering can, a lamb, a duckling and a blossom branch. There are no cartoon characters or brands on any page. Print one big picture on a page, a grid of four or six small pictures, a garden scene with a kite in the sky, a fold-in-half card, or a spring mandala with a new pattern at the press of a button. Type a child’s name for a name page in hollow letters to color, such as “Hello Spring, Maya”, or paste a class list to get the same picture for everyone with each child’s name at the top. Choose simple, medium or detailed lines: the same picture gets more to color, and the lines get finer, never thinner than 0.5 mm. Download everything as one multi-page PDF for US Letter or A4, a 300 DPI PNG of every page, or an SVG. No sign-up, no watermark.

Printing tips

  • Every page keeps a 12.7 mm (half inch) margin from the paper edge, on US Letter and A4.
  • Plain paper is fine for crayons and pencils; use thicker paper or card for markers and paint.
  • Print one page first and check it before printing a whole pack or class set.
  • Choose the finest lines only with fine pens or sharp pencils, and Simple lines with chunky crayons.
  • For the card, print one side only, then fold the sheet in half with the picture on the outside; the inside stays blank for a message.

Frequently asked questions

Are these spring coloring pages free?

Yes. Every page is free to make, download and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. All the pictures are our own drawings.

How do I print the coloring pages?

Download the PDF and print it on plain paper. Choose 100% or Actual size to keep the margins as drawn; Fit to page also works if your printer cuts off the edges. Card or thicker paper takes markers and paint better.

Which pages suit toddlers and preschoolers?

Choose Simple lines: big shapes with thick outlines that are easy to stay inside. The tulip, the watering can, the sprout in a pot and the rainbow have the fewest shapes, as the table shows. Medium adds spots, stripes and leaves, and Detailed adds small flowers, raindrops and fine lines.

Is there a spring scene to color?

Yes. Choose Garden scene: a watering can, a tulip, a sprout in a pot and a duckling on the grass, with a kite, the sun and clouds in the sky. Medium and Detailed add small flowers in the grass, a butterfly and a bee.

Can I put my child’s name on a coloring page?

Yes. Choose Name page and type the name. The name is drawn in large hollow letters to color, under the greeting “Hello Spring,” with a tulip, a butterfly and a duckling below. You can change the greeting or remove it.

Can I make a page for every child in my class?

Yes. Choose Class set, pick a picture and paste the names, one per line, up to 40. Each child gets the same picture with their own name in hollow letters at the top, all in one PDF.

Are there spring coloring pages for adults?

Yes. Choose Spring mandala with Detailed lines: each pattern number gives a different symmetric design with a flower at the center and a ring of tulips at the edge. Choose 16 repeats for the most intricate pattern.

Can I color a photo of my own garden?

Not on this page: it draws our own pictures. To turn your own photo into line art, use the photo to coloring page tool linked below.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Names and words are not sent anywhere, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
