Leap day
A year is a leap year when it divides by 4, except century years, which must divide by 400: 2028 is one, 2100 will not be. The tool checks every year from 1900 to 2200 this way, so any February you pick has the right number of days. A date typed for 29 February in a year that is not a leap year is reported as a line it couldn’t read, not moved to 1 March.
