Apple Template
Print an apple template for free. Choose a classic, round or tall apple and print it whole, with the stem and leaf in the same outline, or as three pieces: the apple, a stem and a leaf to glue on. Add a worm hole with a worm to poke through it, and 3, 5 or 7 writing lines for a name, a word list or an “All about me” page. Type names to print one on each apple. Set the height from 2 in to a full page, or a poster up to 36 in tiled over several sheets, and fill the sheet with small apples for a class set or a garland. Print the outline to colour, or a colour version in red, green, yellow or a mix. A check square shows the print is true size. Download a PDF on US Letter or A4, an SVG cut file or a PNG. No sign-up, no watermark.

Runs in your browser with our own code; names never leave your device, and nothing is saved. The apples, stems, leaves and worm are our own drawings. Every piece is placed so it fits the sheet. The PDF is true size: print at 100% (Actual size) and check the square.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes can I print?
Apples from 1.6 in tall up to a full page (7 in tall, 8.4 in with the stem) on US Letter, and posters up to 36 in tiled over several sheets. The tables on this page show the width and how many apples fit on a sheet.
Is the stem part of the apple?
You choose. “Whole apple” prints the stem and leaf in the same outline, so it is one cut. “Pieces” prints the apple, a stem and a leaf separately, to cut from different colours and glue together.
How does the worm work?
Tick the worm hole: a round hole (20 mm across on a 6 in apple) is cut in the apple, and a worm strip narrower than the hole is printed beside it, so it can poke through from the back.
Can I write on the apple?
Yes: choose 3, 5 or 7 writing lines. They stay inside the apple and stop short of the worm hole, and a name on the apple moves up above the lines.
Is there a colour version?
Yes: tick “Print in colour” for red, green or yellow apples, or a mix, with a brown stem and a green leaf. Leave it unticked for an outline to colour in.
How do I check the print is the right size?
Measure the check square on the first sheet: it must be exactly 1 in (or 2 cm with cm units) on each side. If it is smaller, print again at 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page.
Can I use it with a Cricut or Silhouette?
Yes. Download the SVG: it is true size in millimetres, with the cut lines on their own layer.
Can I sell things I make with this apple?
The designs are our own drawings: you may use them and anything you make with them, including things you sell, with no credit needed.
