Twins Special Brand Guidelines
The Thailand-made Muay Thai glove.

Two constants: a Twins-crimson palette and a direct-sans register. Abstract homage — not a Twins Special product or mark; no glove, logo or Thai cultural or religious motif is reproduced.
The Thailand-made Muay Thai glove
Twins Special is the family-owned Thai Muay Thai gear maker, founded in 1992, whose BGVL sparring gloves are handcrafted at its own factory in Samut Sakhon, Thailand.
Twins Special brings the fighter’s-hands round its genuine Thai-craft node — a Muay Thai house that still hand-makes its gloves in Thailand, in the country whose martial art it serves. It was founded in 1992 by Narong Wongprasertkan, in Krathum Baen, Samut Sakhon, just outside Bangkok, and began as a small shophouse. Twins Special makes and sells the gear, and its answer to a round about where fight gear is made is direct: in its own Thai factory, by Thai hands.
Its identity is the Thailand-made Muay Thai glove. The genuine in-country manufacture, the family ownership and the BGVL sparring glove are the story here. A glove, made in Thailand. The Thailand-made Muay Thai glove.
(Honest notes, framed with cultural respect and care over claims. Twins Special sells Muay Thai gloves, shin guards and shorts as its heroes, led by the BGVL Velcro sparring glove, and we report its performance language as the brand’s own. It is family-owned and independent — Narong Wongprasertkan is its president — and its BGVL glove is reputed to be among the most popular Muay Thai gloves in the world, though we frame that as a widely repeated claim rather than confirmed sales data. On where it is made, the point that carries the round: Twins Special manufactures at its own factory in Samut Sakhon, cited at over five hundred workers producing more than ten thousand gloves a month — genuine Thai manufacture. On a point of accuracy: the genuine heritage brand is the Thai company; a separate United States entity, a former distributor, has claimed the mark in the US, so we attribute the brand to Thailand and do not depict its logo. And because Muay Thai is a living Thai martial art, we frame it respectfully and reproduce no Sak Yant tattoos, Mongkol headbands or Thai religious motifs. Its designs are IP we describe but do not reproduce; there is no official brand hex; these tones are an unofficial interpretation.)
Colour
Twins Special lives in a Twins crimson. Click a swatch to copy the hex.
Twins Special’s identity is traditional, direct and Thai — a Twins crimson, an ink, a pale rose, a deep maroon, and a paper. The palette leans Twins crimson and pale rose: a ring-canvas, gym-leather register that nods to Thai boxing craft rather than a loud logo colour, and deliberately not to any sacred motif. It signals a Thailand-made Muay Thai glove — hard-wearing, honest and hand-built. The honest caveat: with no published brand hex, these values are an original, unofficial interpretation, not first-party colours.
The lesson is a Twins crimson signals a traditional, made-in-Thailand identity. Twins Special’s world is a hand-stitched sparring glove made in its own factory. For designers, it is a reminder that a deep crimson and a soft pale rose can carry a heritage maker — a gym tone held as colour, never as a cultural symbol borrowed for decoration. Because these tones can fail as small text, keep type dark and let the colour live in the accents, palette and band. The takeaways: credit Narong Wongprasertkan; date it to 1992; name the genuine Thai manufacture; and treat any single hex as unofficial.
Typography
The register is a direct sans — traditional, plain, hand-built.
Twins Special’s identity carries a traditional, plain, hand-built spirit — a working gym object, not a fashion label. A direct sans captures the mood: sturdy, clear and confident, the register of a hand-stitched sparring glove. Set in a Twins-crimson palette, the direct sans feels traditional and honest — exactly the personality Twins Special carries. It behaves like a made, stitched thing rather than a logo, mirroring gym leather and ring canvas. (Twins Special’s real gloves, the twin-figure logo and the wordmark are things we describe but do not reproduce, and the exact typeface is not ours to use.) Because it is not ours to use, the honest description is “a direct-sans brand,” shown here in a stand-in. The type behaves like the brand: traditional, plain and hand-built.

The fighter’s hands
Twins Special stands for the Thailand-made Muay Thai glove.
Twins Special brings the round its genuine Thai-craft node. A Twins-crimson palette, a direct sans and an own factory make one thing — the Thailand-made Muay Thai glove — the whole identity: traditional, direct and Thai. The in-country manufacture is the pitch, and the family ownership is the proof. The point is a Muay Thai house that hand-makes its gloves in Thailand, in a round about where fight gear is made.
Put to work, the identity is the brand told straight and with cultural respect. A maker in this spirit would credit Narong Wongprasertkan, date it to 1992, and name the genuine Thai manufacture. A reader in this spirit would keep the facts right: Twins Special sells Muay Thai gloves, shin guards and shorts as its heroes, led by the BGVL sparring glove; it is family-owned and independent; it manufactures at its own five-hundred-worker factory in Samut Sakhon; and the genuine heritage brand is the Thai company, not a US claimant to the mark. Twins Special sits among the round’s makers, after Everlast. The honest editorial moves are to attribute the brand to Thailand, to frame the best-selling claim as reputed, to name the Thai factory, and to reproduce no sacred Muay Thai motif.
For designers and brand-builders, Twins Special continues the fighter’s hands: let genuine in-country craft be the identity — and honour a martial art without borrowing its sacred symbols. The lessons: build a brand on real domestic manufacture; credit the founding family; attribute a contested mark to the genuine maker; frame a marketing superlative as reputed; and never reproduce a logo or a sacred cultural motif. It is also a reminder to stay precise: Twins Special is the family-owned Thai Muay Thai gear maker, founded in 1992, whose BGVL sparring gloves are handcrafted at its own factory in Samut Sakhon, Thailand — with the palette here an unofficial interpretation. Read that way, Twins Special is less a glove than a Thai workshop: traditional, direct, hand-built. The lesson for a brand is that genuine craft and cultural respect reinforce each other, and naming the real Thai maker keeps the story earned. Twins Special made the-Thailand-made-Muay-Thai-glove the identity — proof that in-country craft carries the round.
