How do I convert Markdown to PDF?
Paste your Markdown or open the .md file, choose a page size and style, then click Save as PDF. In the print dialog, set the destination to “Save as PDF”.
Which Markdown features are supported?
GitHub-flavoured Markdown: headings, bold and italic, lists and task lists, tables, fenced code blocks, block quotes, links, images and horizontal rules.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes, with “Save as PDF”: text stays selectable and searchable and links stay clickable. The “Download PDF (image)” option makes a picture of each page instead — handy when printing isn't available.
Can I include images?
Yes — use images with full web addresses (https://…). Local image files on your computer can't be referenced from Markdown in a browser.
Why are there headers or a date on my PDF?
Your browser adds them. In the print dialog, open “More settings” and untick “Headers and footers”.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The Markdown is converted in your browser and never leaves your device.
