DOCX to Markdown
Convert Word documents to Markdown for free — headings, bold and italic text, bulleted and numbered lists, links, tables and images are turned into clean Markdown. Download images as separate files in a ZIP or embed them, choose your Markdown style, and preview the result. Runs privately in your browser.
100% private — everything runs in your browser. Conversion happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.
Word headings, bold, italics, lists, links, tables and images are converted with the open-source mammoth and Turndown libraries. Colours, fonts and page layout aren’t part of Markdown, so they’re left out. Your document never leaves your device.
