Nude Brand Guidelines
The crystalline minimal.

Two constants: an amethyst-and-sand palette and a geometric sans register. Abstract homage — not a Nude piece or wordmark.
The crystalline minimal
Nude makes pared-back, lead-free crystalline glass through design collaboration.
Nude is a lesson in design collaboration as the identity. A Turkish glass brand, it makes minimal, lead-free crystalline tableware and stemware by working with an international roster of designers.
Its identity is the crystalline minimal. Nude’s pared-back stemware, tumblers and barware — clean, contemporary, made in lead-free crystalline glass — are the work it is known for. Glass reduced to essentials. Design, made in crystal.
(Honest notes: Nude is a Turkish glassware design brand, launched around 2014 — some sources say 2016 — and based in Istanbul. Its signature is minimal, contemporary design in lead-free crystalline glass: stemware, tumblers, barware and tableware in a pared-back modern aesthetic, developed through collaborations with well-known designers including Ron Arad, Sebastian Herkner, Nendo, Defne Koz and Rony Plesl. On ownership, an important nuance: Nude is not an independent start-up — it is a brand of Şişecam (through Paşabahçe), one of the largest glass manufacturers in Turkey, and is made in that group’s facilities. The designers’ works are their own IP, and Nude acts as producer and collaborator — we describe those collaborations but don’t reproduce them. Its forms are IP we describe, not reproduce. There’s no official brand hex — these tones are an unofficial interpretation. This is design commentary and does not promote any product.)
Colour
Nude lives in an amethyst-and-sand palette. Click a swatch to copy the hex.
Nude’s identity is clean, contemporary and quiet — an amethyst, an ink, a sand, a graphite, and a chalk. The palette leans amethyst and sand — the register of crystalline glass’s cool clarity and warm neutral design. It signals minimalism and craft rather than novelty. The honest caveat: with no published brand hex, these tones are an original, unofficial interpretation, not first-party values.
The lesson is an amethyst-and-sand palette signals crystalline minimal glass. Nude’s world is a clean, contemporary, quiet object. For designers, it is a reminder that a method — commissioning strong designers and producing their work at scale in crystalline glass — can be the whole identity, and that a cool, restrained palette signals that minimalism. Because a mid amethyst can fail as small text, keep type dark and let the colour live in the accents, palette and band. The takeaways: collaborate with real designers; keep it minimal; produce well; and treat any single hex as unofficial.
Typography
The register is a geometric sans — clean, modern, quiet.
Nude’s identity carries a clean, modern, quiet spirit — a minimal, design-led object. A geometric sans captures the mood: it is precise and understated, the register of contemporary design. Set in an amethyst-and-sand palette, the geometric sans feels clean and modern — exactly the personality Nude carries. It is quiet rather than loud, mirroring pared-back crystalline glass. (Nude’s real pieces, its collaborators’ designs and its wordmark are works we describe but do not reproduce, and the exact typeface is not ours to use.) Because it is not ours to use, the honest description is “a geometric sans spirit,” shown here in a stand-in. The type behaves like the brand: clean, modern and quiet.

Design collaboration as identity
Nude stands for the crystalline minimal.
Nude is a lesson in making design collaboration the identity. An amethyst-and-sand palette, a geometric sans and a pared-back glass make design-led crystalline ware the whole brand — clean, contemporary, quiet. The collaboration is the differentiator. The differentiator is a method: commissioning respected international designers and producing their minimal ideas at scale in lead-free crystalline glass.
Put to work, the identity is collaboration as design. A brand building in this spirit would pair strong manufacturing with a clear design point of view — inviting outside designers in, holding a minimal aesthetic, and letting the crystalline material carry the work. It would also credit its designers plainly and let each collaboration keep its own voice, so the range reads as a curated collection of ideas rather than a single house style — variety held together by a consistent material and a shared restraint. The lesson Nude teaches is that a design roster plus real production can build a brand: named collaborators, a consistent minimal language, and a large glassmaker behind it give it an identity that reads as considered rather than generic. The design is the personality, and the production is the substance.
For designers and brand-builders, Nude offers a clear takeaway: let design collaboration carry the object. The lessons: work with real designers; keep it minimal; produce well; and be honest about the story. It is also a reminder to stay accurate: Nude is not an independent start-up but a brand of Şişecam (through Paşabahçe), and its designs are the work of its named collaborators — the palette here is an unofficial interpretation. And it is a reminder that ownership honesty matters: Nude’s strength is design plus the backing of a major glassmaker, and that is worth stating plainly rather than dressing up as an indie story. Nude made the crystalline minimal the brand — proof that design collaboration can be the difference.
