Wall&decò Brand Guidelines
The digital print.

Two constants: a teal palette and a contemporary sans register. Abstract homage — not a Wall&decò design or wordmark.
The digital print
Wall&decò digitally prints made-to-measure wallpaper in Cervia, Italy — including waterproof and outdoor systems.
Wall&decò is a lesson in a technology as the identity. A contemporary Italian house in Cervia, it digitally prints wallpaper to measure — a continuous image sized to the wall — and has pushed the surface into places wallpaper rarely goes: bathrooms, façades, acoustic panels. A wallpaper, printed digitally in Italy.
Its identity is the digital print. Wall&decò’s made-to-measure digital wallpaper, and its technical systems, are the work it is known for. A technology, made a signature. A house that made wallpaper go where it could not.
(Honest notes, so the story stays precise. Wall&decò was founded in 2005 — not the earlier date sometimes given — by Christian Benini, a former advertising photographer who remains its creative director. It is genuinely made in Italy, digitally printed to measure at its Cervia facility. One ownership note: since 2018 it has belonged to the Swedish group Embellence (renamed in 2021), so we describe it as a Swedish-owned Italian brand whose design and production have stayed in Cervia — not an independent one. Its patented systems are real innovations worth crediting: WET System for waterproof rooms, OUT System for outdoor use, and a SOUND System for acoustics. Its patterns and named collaborations are its IP, described but never reproduced, and there is no official brand hex — these tones are an unofficial interpretation. This is design commentary and does not promote any product.)
Colour
Wall&decò lives in a teal palette. Click a swatch to copy the hex.
Wall&decò’s identity is contemporary, technical and Italian — a teal, an ink, a sand, a coral, and a chalk. The palette leans teal and coral: the register of a modern, design-forward maker. It signals innovation and design over convention. The honest caveat: with no published brand hex, these values are an original, unofficial interpretation, not first-party colours.
The lesson is a teal palette signals a contemporary, technical identity. Wall&decò’s world is a digitally printed, made-in-Italy, modern object. For designers, it is a reminder that a deep teal and a warm coral can carry a brand built on technology — the teal of a modern surface and the coral of a designer’s accent. Because these tones can fail as small text, keep type dark and let the colour live in the accents, palette and band. The takeaways: print digitally; solve real problems; keep it in Italy; and treat any single hex as unofficial.
Typography
The register is a contemporary sans — clean, modern, technical.
Wall&decò’s identity carries a clean, modern, technical spirit — a contemporary object, not a traditional one. A contemporary sans captures the mood: even, precise and current, the register of a digitally printed Italian wallpaper. Set in a teal palette, the contemporary sans feels clean and modern — exactly the personality Wall&decò carries. It is technical rather than nostalgic, mirroring a made-to-measure digital print. (Wall&decò’s real designs and wordmark are things we describe but do not reproduce, and the exact typeface is not ours to use.) Because it is not ours to use, the honest description is “a contemporary-sans spirit,” shown here in a stand-in. The type behaves like the maker: clean, modern and technical.

A technology as identity
Wall&decò stands for the digital print.
Wall&decò is a lesson in making a technology the identity. A teal palette, a contemporary sans and made-to-measure digital prints make one technology the whole maker — contemporary, technical and Italian. The technology is the differentiator. The differentiator is a genuine advance — digital printing that sizes an image to the wall and, through patented systems, takes wallpaper into wet rooms, outdoor walls and acoustic panels.
Put to work, the identity is a technology as design. A maker building in this spirit would use a modern process to do what older methods cannot, solve real problems like water and sound, and keep the making at home, so the customer buys into capability rather than only pattern. It would treat made-to-measure as the point, so that a wall is printed once, exactly. It would be honest that it is Swedish-owned while its making stays Italian. The lesson Wall&decò teaches is that a technology can build a brand: the process gives it range, and the Italian making gives it substance. The technology is the personality, and the making is the proof.
For designers and brand-builders, Wall&decò offers a clear takeaway: let a modern process open new ground. The lessons: print digitally; solve real problems; keep it in Italy; and be honest about ownership. It is also a reminder to stay precise: Wall&decò is a contemporary Italian house founded in 2005 by Christian Benini, owned by the Embellence group since 2018, digitally printing made-to-measure wallpaper in Cervia with patented WET, OUT and SOUND systems — with the palette here an unofficial interpretation. Wall&decò made the digital print the maker — proof that a technology can be the difference.
