Non-stop Dogwear Brand Guidelines
The technical harness.

Two constants: a technical-outdoor palette and a technical sans register. Abstract homage — not the Non-stop harness or wordmark.
The technical harness
Non-stop Dogwear built performance gear from sled-dog sport.
Non-stop Dogwear is a lesson in performance engineering as the identity. A Norwegian brand founded in 2009 in Brøttum, it grew out of sled-dog sport and made technical dog gear its whole reason to exist.
Its identity is the technical harness. Non-stop’s ergonomic Freemotion harness is the object it is known for — engineered for movement — within a range of performance harnesses, jackets and gear for active dogs. Gear built to perform. Dog equipment with the rigour of outdoor sportswear.
(Honest notes: Non-stop Dogwear is a Norwegian technical dog-gear brand founded in 2009 in Brøttum, Norway, by four founders (Kristoffer Grøtan Olsen, Tonje Wahl Evensen, Sebastian Plur Nilssen and Fredrik Skjøldt), with roots in sled-dog sport. Its signature is the ergonomic Freemotion harness — the origin invention — within a range of harnesses, jackets and gear developed and tested with elite mushing, canicross and skijoring athletes. On production, it is designed in Norway and manufactured primarily in Asia (to ISO-9001 standards), which we state honestly. It is independent (Non-stop Dogwear AS); note it is distinct from a separate “Nonstop Defense” working-K9 line. There’s no official brand hex, and we reproduce no harness or logo — these tones are an unofficial interpretation. This is design commentary and does not promote any product.)
Colour
Non-stop Dogwear lives in a technical-outdoor palette. Click a swatch to copy the hex.
Non-stop’s identity is technical, rugged and performance-first — an orange, an ink, a steel, a graphite, and a chalk. The palette leans technical outdoor — the register of performance sportswear and mountain gear. It signals engineering and durability rather than novelty. The honest caveat: with no published brand hex, these tones are an original, unofficial interpretation, not first-party values.
The lesson is a technical-outdoor palette signals performance gear. Non-stop’s world is a technical, engineered object. For designers, it is a reminder that a real sport — sled-dog racing — can be a credible origin for a whole product line, and that a technical, outdoor palette with a signal accent signals that performance heritage. Because an orange can fail as small text, keep type dark and let the colour live in the accents, palette and band. The takeaways: engineer for performance; earn a sport heritage; keep it technical; and treat any single hex as unofficial.
Typography
The register is a technical sans — precise, sporty, engineered.
Non-stop’s identity carries a precise, sporty, engineered spirit — a technical, performance object. A condensed technical sans captures the mood: it is athletic and exact, the register of outdoor performance gear. Set in a technical-outdoor palette, the technical sans feels precise and sporty — exactly the personality Non-stop carries. It is engineered rather than decorative, mirroring a performance harness. (Non-stop’s real harness and wordmark are works we describe but do not reproduce, and the exact typeface is not ours to use.) Because it is not ours to use, the honest description is “a technical sans spirit,” shown here in a stand-in. The type behaves like the brand: precise, sporty and engineered.

Performance engineering as identity
Non-stop Dogwear stands for the technical harness.
Non-stop Dogwear is a lesson in making performance engineering the identity. A technical-outdoor palette, a technical sans and an ergonomic harness make performance gear the whole brand — technical, rugged, engineered. The engineering is the differentiator. The differentiator is a harness developed and proven in real sled-dog and canicross sport.
Put to work, the identity is credibility earned in the field. A designer building in this spirit would develop products with real athletes and let that testing define the design, so the gear reads as genuine performance equipment rather than fashion. The lesson Non-stop teaches is that a sport heritage is a durable asset: growing out of mushing and skijoring gives the harness a proof point competitors can’t easily claim, and a technical, outdoor design language keeps that performance story front and centre.
For designers and brand-builders, Non-stop offers a clear takeaway: earn credibility in a real sport. The lessons: engineer for performance; earn a sport heritage; keep it technical; and be honest about the story. It is also a reminder to stay accurate: it was founded in 2009 in Brøttum by four founders, and its signature is the Freemotion harness — the palette here is an unofficial interpretation. And it is a reminder that made-where honesty is straightforward when a brand is open: Non-stop states its gear is designed in Norway and made primarily in Asia to ISO-9001 standards, so we report that plainly rather than imply Norwegian manufacture. It is a reminder, too, that similarly named lines need separating: the consumer dogwear brand is distinct from a “Nonstop Defense” working-K9 line, and keeping them apart avoids attributing one’s claims to the other. And it is a reminder that a performance story only holds if the testing is real: because the gear is genuinely developed with competing athletes, the technical claims read as earned rather than as marketing dressed up in outdoor colours. Non-stop Dogwear made the technical harness the brand — proof that performance engineering can be the difference.
