Sunwink Brand Guidelines
Herbs, but joyful.

Two constants: a bold per-function palette and a rounded, friendly wordmark. Abstract homage — not the Sunwink wordmark or packaging.
Herbs, but joyful
Sunwink made herbal wellness colourful.
Sunwink is a lesson in colour as an antidote to clinical wellness. Founded around 2018 in San Francisco (by co-founder and CEO Eliza, after an autoimmune diagnosis left her wanting truly clean, plant-powered drinks), it makes plant-powered herbal wellness beverages — organic, vegan, stevia-free, built on functional herbs like dandelion, schisandra and turmeric.
Its design became known for the opposite of clinical “supplement” packaging: bold, colourful, joyful — bright, saturated per-function colours and playful modern type, a cheerful counter to the beige, pharma-adjacent wellness aisle.
(Honest notes: Sunwink is operating in 2026, but it has pivoted — its current heroes are powder stick-packs (Detox Greens, Digestion Lemonade), not the sparkling canned herbal tonics it was famous for, and its current site reads softer/more minimalist. So the bold, colourful identity described here is its known, tonic-era design, honestly noted. No official brand hex is published.)
Colour
Sunwink lives in bold, per-function colour. Click a swatch to copy the hex.
Sunwink’s identity is bold, colourful and joyful — a lime, a berry, a turmeric, a cream, and an ink. In its known tonic era it used bright, saturated per-function colours — a different vivid hue per benefit. It signals joyful, plant-powered wellness rather than clinical supplement design. The honest caveat: with no published brand hex, these tones are an original, unofficial interpretation, not first-party values.
The lesson is bold colour makes wellness feel joyful. Sunwink’s world is a bright herbal apothecary. For designers, it is a reminder that saturated, per-function colour — the opposite of beige “clean” minimalism — can make a functional wellness product feel cheerful, approachable and human. The takeaways: use bold saturated colour to signal joy; colour-code by function; and treat any single hex as unofficial — using a deep berry for small text so the brights stay joyful.
Typography
The wordmark spirit is a rounded sans — friendly and joyful.
Sunwink’s identity carries a friendly, joyful, approachable spirit — bright colour and playful type. A rounded, warm sans captures the mood: it is cheerful and welcoming, the register of a joyful wellness brand. Set against bold per-function colour, the rounded sans feels friendly and joyful — exactly the anti-clinical personality Sunwink carries. It is warm rather than sterile, mirroring cheerful packaging. (Sunwink’s real wordmark and packaging are trademarks and trade dress we describe but do not reproduce, and the exact typeface is not published, so we don’t assert it.) Because the specific mark is not ours to use, the honest description is “a rounded sans spirit,” not the Sunwink logo. The type behaves like the brand: friendly, joyful and approachable.

Joyful wellness
Sunwink stands for colourful herbal wellness.
Sunwink is a lesson in making wellness cheerful. Bright per-function colour and playful design turned functional herbs into something joyful and approachable — a colourful rebuke to beige supplement design. The joyful colour is the differentiator. The differentiator is a bright, anti-clinical wellness identity.
For designers and brand-builders, Sunwink offers a clear takeaway: colour can humanise a clinical category. The lessons: reject the beige “clean” default; use bold saturated per-function colour; and keep the tone friendly. It is also a reminder to stay accurate: Sunwink has pivoted from its known sparkling tonics to powders, with a softer current look — so the bold colourful identity here is its known, tonic-era design, and the palette an unofficial interpretation. Sunwink made wellness joyful — proof that colour can be the difference.
